It was... what I needed it to be. Exhausting, epic, beautiful, meaningful, full of work and friends. I will write something more comprehensive when I'm not still half a human. We got in at 8:30.

I got a new tattoo. I'd planned on getting something completely different and decided yesterday morning that I wasn't ready for it. So I did something else, which turned out to be the Right Choice.

Nemo perit. It means "no one dies." Not as in immortality, but in the sense that... I am not a brain surgeon. If I fuck up, no one dies.

That's absolutely gorgeous, it turned out wonderfully. :]

I've wanted to get something along the same lines for a while now.. something to remind myself that the world won't end if I make a mistake.

Oh Beth, that's lovely. I really like it, it's gorgeous.

In a similar vein, I want to get "This Too Shall Pass" on my arm. I also want to get "Viva La Vida" because it was what was written in Frida Kahlo's final painting and she has been a big influence on my life.

I thought I saw more than the key "this morning". You were so lovely :)
It was the most amazing concert I'd ever been to, seriously, and even though I just got home from it now... and after all that, I forgot to bring my keys with me to give to you. But thank you for remembering me, that was amazing.

I'm still spinning. And the new tattoo is gorgeous.

You know, I actually noticed it... earlier today (wow, it's still the same day?) because the key looked like fresh ink but I didn't think anything of it. It's awesome, I really like the placement of it, especially in relation to the key.

On my way home today I totally realized that I shouted "Beth mother fucking Hommel" with my arms in the air just like the kids in Billy Madison (O'Doyle rules! [ http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsNgRmsx-14 ])... I was um... a bit intoxicated on alcohol, but mostly excitement of being there, and I was also stoked because I accidentally found you haha.

I forgot to tell you, machine wash cold inside out - very important it's inside out at least on the first wash.
