it amuses the hell out of me when people tell me (surprisingly often, it's bizarre) I don't 'look/ act gay'. apparently the kissing of other girls isn't enough for them... *sigh*.

thanks for posting this entry, I (like any other gay person... or straight person too, most likely) think about my sexuality often - what it means in the grand scheme of things, and all that jazz - and it's comforting to see someone thinking about it in such a similar way and coming to so many of the same conclusions I have. I'm glad you are proud. I'm glad I'M proud and I hope (and believe) that someday that anonymous teen will be proud too.

I'm a (mostly) straight person who thinks a great deal about his own sexuality, and sexuality in general, and what it means in the grand scheme of his own life and everything else.

However, I don't think most straight people. For most, it's something they just kind of take for granted.

I'm a straight person and I dont think about sexuality much. Not because I take it for granted but more because I'm occupied with other thought things. I like birkenstocks and flannel sometimes, and canada. canada is nice. Actually thats probably a good analogy. Sexuality is like canada. I've been there, sometimes its really cold and kind of barren, and sometimes its lush and bountiful. No offense to canadians or bi or gay people, but most of the time I'm more worried about how to pay my mortgage, health insurance, and dog food. I always figure other people are having more sex than me, and im jealous, but as for who they are having relationships with, eh thats between them. I dont really understand why anyone would want to get married, but eh thats between them, as long as I get invited and can have cake I'm all for it.

btw this is what a straight person looks like although usually not so intoxicated.
